About the Role

As a Permanent Part-Time team member, you will support the daily operations of the adidas store while delivering exceptional customer service. You will assist customers in finding the right products, process sales transactions, maintain high visual merchandising standards and help create an outstanding shopping experience.

You will also receive ongoing training to improve your product knowledge and retail skills while learning about store performance and best selling products through adidas digital learning platforms and reporting tools.

What You Will Do

As a Permanent Part-Time Sales Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

• Deliver outstanding customer service to every shopper.
• Assist customers in selecting products that meet their needs.
• Process cash, card and other point of sale transactions accurately.
• Help replenish stock from the stockroom to the sales floor.
• Support visual merchandising and product displays.
• Maintain excellent housekeeping and store cleanliness standards.
• Assist with ticketing and checking incoming merchandise.
• Use effective selling techniques, including add on sales and product recommendations.
• Safeguard company assets and follow loss prevention procedures.
• Report suspicious activity and follow store security processes.
• Participate in in store and digital training programmes.
• Learn to use Power BI tools to better understand store performance and product trends.
• Work closely with the management team to achieve store sales targets.

Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this opportunity, applicants should have:

• Grade 12 (Matric).
• Zero to one year of retail experience. Previous fashion retail experience will be advantageous but is not essential.
