Pearl Thusi Joins the Star-Studded Cast of International Series Average Joe. Now this is how one makes a comeback! Pearl Thusi hasn’t been getting acting screens for quite sometime, and now she returns with a role in an international series.
Average Joe returns for season II, and how cool is it that it was shot in Cape Town, South Africa. It is even more interesting that some of our local stars are cast in the comedy-thriller. Among those are Katlego Lebogang and Hakeem Kae-Kazim, who are added to the main cast alongside returning star Deon Cole. There is Pearl, who has just revealed the great news to her online family. The talented actress, media personality and DJ is over the moon for the casting, and we can’t wait to see her do what she does best.
Internationally Recognized Star
This is not the first time Pearl gets scooped by an international production. From 2016-2017, Pearl killed the role of Dayana Mampasi in the ABC American thriller, Quantico. In 2021, she had a role in the 2nd season of Netflix’s martial arts series, Wu Assassins. Pearl was also cast in Fistful of Vengeance (2022) as Adaku. She also played Tala in The Scorpion King: Book of Souls, back in 2018. She also starred in Bulletproof 2, alongside American actors including the likes of Faizon Love and Tony Todd.
