Job Overview And Responsibilities
• Support implementation of training programmes within Environmental Programmes
• Maintain accurate data entry, verification and participant record systems
• Assist in planning, coordination and monitoring of training activities
• Ensure training interventions meet required programme standards
• Compile and submit training reports and progress updates
• Conduct induction training for Environmental Programme participants
• Assist with development and submission of annual training plans
• Monitor training attendance, duration and completion compliance
• Engage with stakeholders across EPWP youth and contractor development programmes
• Represent the programme in local forums and stakeholder meetings
• Support evaluation and monitoring of training at project level
• Maintain consistent communication with internal and external stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with EPWP prescripts and departmental guidelines
• Assist with administrative and operational training support tasks
Requirements And Skills
• National Diploma (NQF 6) or higher in Development Studies, Public Management or related field
• No work experience required
• Strong computer literacy skills
• Ability to compile reports and manage structured data
• Understanding of skills development legislation is an advantage
• Knowledge of SAQA accreditation processes is beneficial
• Familiarity with EPWP programmes is an advantage
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Good organisational and planning ability
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Willingness to travel and work extended hours when required
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
