Clicks Group is recruiting a Tax Graduate for a 12-month fixed-term contract based at its Head Office in Cape Town. Working within the Tax Department and reporting to the Tax Manager, the successful candidate will assist with tax compliance processes, financial audit preparation and tax administration activities. Job Overview And Responsibilities

• Support the tax team with monthly tax compliance activities
• Assist in preparing tax schedules for annual financial audits
• Compile and maintain tax-related records and documentation
• Support the preparation of information required for tax reporting processes
• Assist with responding to requests and queries from tax revenue authorities
• Perform administrative duties related to tax compliance and reporting
• Ensure tax documentation is accurate and completed within required deadlines
• Assist with data collection and analysis for tax-related projects
• Support internal tax processes and compliance procedures
• Work closely with the Tax Manager and broader finance team
• Maintain confidentiality when handling financial and tax information
• Contribute to the efficient operation of the tax department
• Assist with ad hoc tax and finance projects as required

Requirements And Skills

• Completed BCom Degree from a recognised university
• Basic knowledge of taxation principles will be advantageous
• Knowledge of eFiling systems will be beneficial
• Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organisational and planning abilities
• Ability to follow established procedures and company policies
• Good time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to work under pressure in a professional environment
• High work standards and commitment to quality
• Strong willingness to learn and develop professionally
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• South African citizen between the ages of 18 and 29 years
• Currently unemployed and available to commit to the full 12-month programme
