What’s In It for You?

• Experience: Hands-on newsroom exposure covering reporting, research, writing, and digital storytelling
• Compensation: Successful candidates will receive a monthly stipend

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support the newsroom with research, background preparation and fact-checking.
• Assist with reporting, story development and article writing.
• Attend editorial meetings and contribute story ideas
• Help source relevant images, quotes and multimedia content
• Assist with uploading and formatting digital content when required.
• Work closely with editors and reporters to meet newsroom deadlines
• Stay informed on current affairs, trends and issues shaping public conversation.
• Perform other newsroom-related duties aligned with the internship programme.

Qualifications and Attributes

• Recent graduate in Journalism, Media Studies, Communication or a related field.
• Strong writing, research and communication skills.
• High proficiency in English.
• A genuine interest in current affairs and public-interest journalism.
• Curious, organized and able to work well under deadline pressure.
