Rorisang Mohapi-Grootboom Bags Lead Role In A New Telenovela. The talented actress has played a number of roles, and slayed them all. Rorisang Mohapi-Grootboom has just got another golden opportunity to show her versatility, this time as a lover girl.

Rorisang has been cast on a new telenovela called Kwa Baba. This is a powerful and heartfelt exploration of love, its beauty and its burdens. With themes around tradition and passion, the show follows the story of how far one son is willing to go when love is tested by family expectations, traditions and dealing with the weight of the past. She plays Bahumi Motaung, who is madly in love a young, driven businessman, Zwelakhe Mkhize (played by Vuyo Biyela).

Before the two can settle down, Zwelakhe quickly discovers something. Before taking that next step, he must deal with a past traditional obligation tied to his late father’s unpaid debt. For Zwelakhe, living in a world where love is never enough, he is forced to confront a truth that could either restore or destroy his family, leading to the question: how much can one sacrifice for the people they love?

Kwa Baba also boasts big names such as Hlengiwe Lushaba-Madlala playing MaMbokazi, who is Zwelakhe’s mother. There is also Lindani Nkosi as Dumisani, Nkanyiso Mzimela as Musa, Kwanele Mthethwa as Khethiwe, Sparky Xulu as Mhlaba, and Phumzile Mlangeni as Zandile.

Kwa Baba will start airing from Monday, 01 June (Monday to Friday) at 19:30
