Isitha: The Enemy Bids Farewell to Likhona Mgali (London)

Isitha: The Enemy Bids Farewell to Likhona Mgali (London). It’s always sad to see a much loved character go. Sometimes though, it can’t be helped as the storyline has to grow. In other instances the actor behind the character might have other commitments, like a new role somewhere.

That being said, many are saddened by the departure of Likhona Mgali from Isitha: The Enemy. The talented actor played London, a role he assumed in 2025. London is a carefree colored student, who caused havoc, in and outside campus. He also broke a couple of hearts and doing everything just to survive. In the past few episodes, viewers got to see another side of London, a softer and caring side. He just found out that he was going to be a father, and embraced the news, fully supporting her baby mama to be, Martha.

Sadly, he just got caught up in some crossfire, and was shot alongside his best friend Velaphi. By the look of things, London did not make it, and this is the end of his journey in Isitha: The Enemy.

Farewell young king 🕊️😥,” Isitha posted on their Facebook page.

On a positive side, Likhona’s exit doesn’t mean he will be unemployed. His agency Mehlareng Actors & Performers Agency has just shared that he has been cast in a significant role in a new TV Series. With this, he further solidifies his position as a talented and sought-after performer.

Likhona made his professional acting debut on Blood Psalm in 2020. The following year he bagged a role in Lingashoni as a supporting actor. In the 1Magic telenovela, Likhona played young Donald. His breakout performance, however came in 2023, when he starred in Netflix’s The Queenstown Kings as Fezile. In 2024, he got nominated for an Africa Movie Academy Award for his role in the Netflix film

His skills besides acting include playing rugby, modelling, being a stylist and a creative director. Likhona is also into music, and making waves bagging gigs with his talent.
