Virgin Active South Africa is hiring a CV Attendant for its Cascades Club-V facility in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal. This permanent role focuses on creating a safe, engaging, and welcoming environment for children using the Club-V childcare and activity area. The position is suited for individuals who enjoy working with children, can manage structured play activities, and take responsibility for maintaining a clean and safe environment. You will support daily childcare operations, supervise young members, and ensure a positive experience for both children and parents within the club environment. Job Overview And Responsibilities

• Supervise children using the Club-V facility and ensure a safe environment
• Manage electronic access and exit of Club-V members accurately
• Control and monitor access cards and member information
• Apply and enforce the 2 consecutive hour usage rule
• Plan and execute structured play activities and themed programmes
• Facilitate creative, educational, and physical activities for children
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards within the facility
• Monitor and report any incidents to management immediately
• Follow all emergency procedures and operational protocols
• Manage and track toys, games, books, and activity materials
• Use checklists to ensure stock and equipment are accounted for
• Engage children through entertainment, learning, and structured play
• Support daily operational standards within the Club-V environment
• Ensure a welcoming and positive experience for parents and children

Requirements And Skills

• Clear criminal record required
• Valid First Aid certification
• Completed internal Club-V and Active Play training (or willingness to complete)
• Strong interest and affinity for working with children
• Ability to plan and lead structured activities and games
