Bomb Productions Release A Statement Addressing Nirvana Nokwe-Mseleku’s Sexual Assault Allegations Against Bonko Khoza. The two actors have been making news on both social media ad the mainstream media. This comes after Nirvana Nokwe-Mseleku alleged that Bonko Khoza sexually assaulted while filming Red Ink, back in September 2023.
Nirvana shared that clear boundaries were set and rehearsed, before filming the Showmax thriller, yet Bonko allegedly violated them. The actress and musician corroborated her statement with emails from her management to producers at Bomb Productions. She says she reported it to police but was sent between multiple stations. Because of this, Nirvana said she has quit traditional acting, as her body is no longer a playground for showbiz.
Bonko, then released a statement detailing his side of the story. He started by acknowledging the seriousness of the allegations, and stated that he stands with victims of sexual assault. When it comes to the allegations against him, the multi-award winning actor and voice over artist denies doing anything wrong. He explained how the rape scene was done, and what was discussed before everything took place, by all the parties concerned. Bonko also added that there were more than 12 crew members on set, and none of them has said anythings on sexual assault.
The production company responsible for Red Ink has now released a statement addressing the issue Bomb Productions states that an internal investigation found insufficient evidence to substantiate the claims made by actress Nirvana against her co-star, Bonko. According to them, Nirvana’s concerns were immediately taken seriously and an extensive consultation and investigation process was initiated. However, the investigation concluded without sufficient evidence to substantiate the allegations.”
