Applications Open for the South West Gauteng TVET College Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Opportunities. Have you completed your N6 qualification and still need workplace experience to qualify for your National Diploma? If so, then this is the opportunity for you.
In collaboration with Media, Information and Communication Technologies, Sector Education and Training Authority (MICT SETA) and Wholesale and Retail Sector Education and Training Authority (W&R SETA) as well as Food and Beverages Manufacturing Sector Education and Training Authority (FoodBev SETA), SWGC invites students who have completed their N6 to apply for Work Integrated Learning (WIL) to gain workplace experience for their National N Diploma.
About the Programme
This opportunity aims to give young people the chance to gain valuable industry exposure, receive a stipend, and move one step closer to obtaining their National Diploma. This is an opportunity to build practical skills, strengthen your CV, and prepare for the world of work.
Application Requirements
- Comprehensive Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Matric Certificate or NC(V) Level 4 Certificate
- Certified ID Copy
- College confirmation Letter (18 months experience required).
- Proof of residence
- Bank Confirmation letter
- Affidavit to confirm that you are not participating in any SERA funded programme
- SARS Registration Letter
- N6-N6 Certificate
Application Eligibility
- Completed N6 qualification in a relevant programme
- Require 18 months of WIL to qualify for the National N Diploma
- Be unemployed and available for the 18-month period
- Provide a letter from the Host Employer committing to accommodate the applicant
