The multi-award winning musician has nothing but gratitude for the gift of life. She is thankful mostly for her late mother who gave her life.
“I was born on the first of April, full of joy 🤩. That is why my joy is unmatched, even if an individual tries hard. I have a fire in me that burns negative emotions in my life; it is in my DNA 🧬. It was on a Wednesday, and it marks 45 years since I was born, and today is also Wednesday, April, full of joy 🥹. My heart is so full of gratitude and so much peace. Instead of celebrating myself, I had to pause and thank my late mother, Tswako ya Banareng, for tolerating pregnancy and labour pain for me to be born. She is part of this celebration,” Winnie said.
