A new drama series that many should look forward to is String Attached. It starts airing from the 4th of May at 20: 00 onManzi Magic. String Attached follows Lethabo, a hardworking breadwinner who believes she has found her chance at love. She meets Xolani, a charming and mysterious businessman who seems to offer her everything she desires. However, his charm soon turns into control, pulling her into a dangerous cycle of manipulation. What begins as a fairy tale quickly takes a dark and unsettling turn.
Strings Attached stars the multi-talented and award winning Rosemary Zimu and Melusi Mbhele. Rosemary plays Lethabo, while Melusi has been cast as her love interest, Xolani.
Rosemary is among the most talented actresses of our time. Since her childhood, she had an interest in theater, singing, and acting. But in 2014 Rosemary started her career with South African film Champagne at the age of 21. In 2017 she landed in Mzansi Magic’s Wena Wena, Same year she also featured in the first South African Netflix series Shadow.
After that, RoseMary continued to soar. She was featured in various South African soap operas like Ilangatje (2018), Insidingo (2018–2019), Generations (2019–2020), and Scandal! In 2022 she got a major role in Netflix’s Savage Beauty, where she played the role of Zinhle. The talented actress also did her thing in Mzansi Magic telenovela, Champions. In 2023 she appeared in a series named Nine. We can’t wait to see her shine as Lehabo in Strings Attached.
