Role Overview
As a Multi-Skilled Employee at Ster-Kinekor, you will rotate across various cinema functions, including cashier duties at the box office, catering sales, collections, cinema assistance, and food preparation such as popcorn and slush. You will play a key role in ensuring each guest has an exceptional cinema experience by maintaining high standards of service, product quality, and cleanliness. The role requires flexibility, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Work across different cinema operations including box office sales, catering, collections, and cinema assistance.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Ster-Kinekor products, promotions, and marketing campaigns to enhance guest experiences and upsell products effectively.
- Ensure presentation standards are met, including age restriction displays, product displays, and promotional material organization.
- Prepare food and beverages such as popcorn and slush according to company quality standards.
- Assist in shift preparation and maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, equipment, and storage areas.
- Manage product integrity and ensure prepared items are properly sealed, packaged, and stored.
- Follow health and safety regulations and submit reports according to required schedules.
- Maintain professional conduct, dress code, and presentation at all times.
Qualifications and Experience
- Matric certificate required.
- 0–1 year of work experience in a similar customer service or hospitality role.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office Suite; familiarity with VISTA or MYCC is advantageous.
