About the Role

As a Service Area Assistant in the Fruit & Veg department, you will ensure that products are stocked, priced, and presented according to company standards. You will contribute to maintaining high-quality produce, preventing wastage, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Stack and store products safely and neatly
• Merchandise products according to company standards
• Correctly price loose selling items and check labels for accuracy
• Check product quality, rotate stock, and remove expired items
• Prevent wastage, shrinkage, and product damage
• Maintain cold chain and check temperatures when applicable
• Follow security procedures at all times
• Operate and clean equipment according to laid down standards
• Assist customers by providing product information and fulfilling requests courteously
• Process customer orders accurately and according to service standards
• Promote products to drive sales and engagement
