Position Overview
Clicks Pharmacy Saxby is seeking a Qualified Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis in Centurion. This role focuses on delivering pharmaceutical care services within the scope of practice while managing day-to-day dispensary operations according to company Standard Operating Procedures. The position is open to candidates who meet all Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) requirements for a Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant and who hold a matric certificate with Maths. The role is aligned with market-related remuneration and supports the principles of Employment Equity.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Maintaining high standards of customer service and care
• Efficient stock control, including repacking medicines and managing inventory
• Accurate dispensary administration and record-keeping
• Compounding medicines precisely according to prescriptions
• Providing general health advice to customers
• Upholding high standards of housekeeping and merchandise display
• Assisting with ad hoc operational requirements as needed

Qualifications and Requirements
Candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Matric certificate with Maths (essential)
• Qualification and registration as a Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant with the HPCSA
• Knowledge of Health isle and over-the-counter (OTC) products
• Understanding of relevant legal and regulatory requirements
• Competence in basic calculations, IT business systems, and MS Office
• Strong customer service orientation and teamwork skills
• Integrity, ethical practice, and attention to detail
