Musa Mthombeni Pulls Out An Epic Throwback From His Presenting Days At YoTV. Musa Mthombeni made a mark in the industry when he bagged the YOTV presenting gig. Back then he was still in high school, but managed to show excellence, winning hearts along the way.
On the daily children’s programmes Musa cut his teeth as a presenter on various live and pre-recorded shows, including YOTV Land, YOTV Wildroom, YOTV Blue Couch, YOTV O-Zone, ME TV, Friday Face Off, Let’s Get Quizzical and YOTV Big Breakfast. For those who have never seen him in that space Musa has just posted a throwback video for them. In the clip he is interviewing two giants, Lira and Bonang Matheba.
“Posting this before my enemies get to it. My enemies are many and I’m currently fighting too many battles on too many fronts. If you ask me why I was speaking on x2 I won’t have an answer for that. Thank you Mr Musa. You will always be famous. I’ve rebranded now! I’m Dr Musa.
Also, if you’re + 45 years old you have no right to say “you raised me” NO NO NO!!!,” of course Musa gave the clip a hilarious caption.
In November 2017 Musa permanently joined Trending SA. Before then, he was a constant stand-in on the show after Shaka Sisulu’s departure from the SABC 3 talk show in July that year. Musa permanently joined the all-female panelists of Pabi Moloi, Nina Hastie, and the late Kuli Roberts.
Musa has also done radio. He worked with Voice of Wits FM in 2010 and was an on-air host on YFM, from 2012-2014. He is also a qualified medical doctor.
