Makhadzi Shares A Positive Update On Her Accident and Recovery. This is great news for all the Khadzinators out there. Their fave, Makhadzi is recovering very well since her car accident, and new music is loading.
When many artists were cruising during the festive season, Makhadzi ended the year on a sad note. The multi-award winning musician was involved in a serious accident on New Year’s eve. The news was shared by her company, Makhadzi Entertainment, which confirmed at the time that she had been admitted to hospital and was receiving medical care. After sometime, Makhadzi got discharged and was recovering at home under the care of her family. Upon getting discharged, Makhadzi was advised by her doctor to remain on home care for at least 10 weeks. During this time she was instructed to not perform any gig, and concentrate on recovery.
Well, that time has passed, and Makhadzi has been cleared to return back to work. Her doctors are happy with her recovery, and have thus given her the green light. Makhadzi is also in good spirits, and is thankful for everyone who was there for her during the difficult experience. She has also been doing music, and will officially come back on the 1st of May 2026.

I would also like to thank the Minister of Sport, Mr. Gayton Mackenzie, Limpopo Premier Dr. Phophi Ramathuba and her executive, Polokwane Mayor Cllr John Mpe, my family, my mother, my father, my team, fellow artists, The AFRIMA’s, Munguambe Foundation and all my followers for all the prayers and messages of support,” Makhadzi said.
