The Wait Is Over! Tropika Island of Treasure Announce Premiere Date. Tropika Island of Treasure is back for its 12th season and we all can’t wait. We will get to see participating celebrities and their partners compete for the ultimate prize on the stunning shores of Reunion Island.
Earlier this year Zanele Potelwa is officially returning as host of the upcoming 12th season of the popular reality series, Tropika Island Of Treasure. The celebrated media personality did an outstanding job in season 11 and we can’t wait to see her shine again. The eight celebrities taking part this season are Sandile Mahlangu, Lalela Mswane, Wiseman Mncube, Caster Semenya, Nadia Nakai, Amanda duPont, Leandie du Randt and Francois Hougaard. Each of the celebrities is ready to give it their all, and hopefully emerge victorious. This time around, Tropika Island of Treasure promises fresh twists, high-stakes challenges, breathtaking locations and the trademark adventure that has made the show a fan favourite since it made its debut in 2008.
Tropika Island Of Treasure Season 12 will premiere on the 23rd of September 2026 on SABC1 at 21:00.
