Former The River Star Lunga Mofokeng Joins Skeem Saam. When The River ended, it was not only sad news for the viewers, but for the cast and crew members. Just like that, their bread and butter was gone, and it was back to grinding once again.
Some of the stars from the award winning telenovela immediately got absorbed by the industry. Lunga Mofokeng, who played Andile Dikana for 6 years also got himself an acting gig. The talented actor is the latest addition in Skeem Saam, where he will play the role of Mr Q. He is a new teacher who joins Turf High. It’s going to be interesting how he fits in the picture, considering the fact that there is another new teacher. Mr Xulu just joined the school as well, and so far, he seems to be quite a character.
Lunga is quite excited about the new gig, and his fans are happy for him. He hasn’t been doing what he loves the most since The River got canned. Now this is an opportunity for him to show his great acting skills once again.
