“Privately Betrayed, Publicly Restored,” Lorraine Moropa Celebrates Her Major International Award Win. Congratulations are in order for Lorraine Moropa, who just got honored at the Chery International User Summit 2025. The talented South African actress and brand ambassador bagged the Experience Maker Award, all the way in Wuhu, China.
To celebrate her major win, Lorraine poured her heart out in an Instagram post. She expressed immerse gratitude to God over the win.
“A local girl with global dreams 😭🌍❤️
Who would have known that a girl from Dayton 1520 would one day stand on an international stage, honoured, seen, and wrapped in so much grace.
To be recognised and celebrated in the presence of the world is not only humbling but deeply moving. It is one of those moments where words fall short, and all you can do is stand still and whisper thank You, God😭🕯️
Because only He could write a story this beautifully. Only He could take an ordinary girl from the East and position her in rooms she once only dreamed of.
I am in utter awe at how faithful and boastful God really is. Unkulunkulu uyazigqaja ngabantwana bakhe. Truly, unabantu bakhe ngamaxesha onke, His people are favoured in every season,” Lorraine said.
“This Experience Maker Award means so much more than its title. It is a reminder of God’s timing, of patience rewarded, and of grace that locates you even when you think no one is watching,” she added.
Lorraine also expressed gratitude to the Chery family. She feels blessed to grow with a brand that sees beyond the numbers, that values people, culture, and connection, has been nothing short of extraordinary. In conclusion Lorraine dedicated her award to her dear mother who has been by her side through every season of my life.
