Job Summary
Rola Toyota Bredasdorp is looking for an Automotive Apprentice (Learner Technician) to be trained and developed to kickstart a technical career in the motor industry. The essential requirement however is minimum Grade 12 with Mathematics & Science as subjects.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Minimum Grade 12 with Mathematics and Science as subjects
- Automotive-related subjects will be advantageous
- Must be young, vibrant, and willing to learn
- Strong technical interest and enthusiasm for motor vehicles
- Good timekeeping and ability to work under pressure
- Good verbal communication skills (training conducted in English)
- Must reside in Bredasdorp or surrounding areas
Duties and Responsibilities
Successful candidates will:
- Assist a qualified technician with servicing and repairing vehicles
- Develop towards becoming a fully qualified Red Seal–accredited Technician
- Learn to accurately clock times on all jobs
- Understand and interpret Repair Order instructions before work begins
- Plan jobs and identify parts required for ordering
- Attend prescribed technical training sessions
