Truworths is offering a permanent Inbound Call Centre Agent Ecommerce position based in Cape Town, Western Cape. This role sits within the Credit Service business area and focuses on supporting online customers with fashion delivery and ecommerce related queries. It is a fast paced call centre environment within one of South Africa’s leading fashion retailers, where customer experience and service quality are central to daily operations.

Job Overview And Purpose

This role supports Truworths ecommerce and online fashion operations by handling inbound customer calls. You will assist customers with order tracking, online profile support and courier related queries. The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to work in a structured call centre environment. You will be part of a team that ensures customers receive accurate information and timely assistance across all ecommerce touchpoints.

The working environment is dynamic and performance driven. You will interact with customers, internal store teams and courier partners to resolve queries and maintain service standards. This role is suited for individuals who enjoy customer interaction and can handle multiple tasks in a high volume environment.

Key Responsibilities And Duties

• Handle inbound calls related to ecommerce orders and fashion deliveries
• Assist customers with tracking orders and delivery updates
• Support customers with online account and profile queries
• Liaise with courier companies and internal store teams
• Provide accurate feedback and resolution updates to customers
• Log and update customer interactions on internal systems
• Resolve basic service issues within defined procedures
• Escalate complex queries to relevant departments when needed
• Maintain high standards of customer service on every call
• Follow company policies, procedures and compliance standards
• Ensure accuracy when capturing customer information
• Support overall call centre performance targets

Requirements And Skills

• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
• Previous call centre or customer service experience is an advantage
• Basic computer literacy including Excel and Word
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Good telephone etiquette and listening skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions
• Strong problem solving ability within set procedures
• Customer focused mindset and professional behaviour
• Ability to manage pressure and meet performance targets
