Graduate Engineer in Training Opportunity at Eskom

Eskom is inviting applications for a Graduate Engineer in Training role in Software Engineering or Computer Science. This opportunity is aimed at graduates who want practical exposure within a strategic national utility while building strong technical and professional skills. The position is based in Gauteng at Megawatt Park within the Generation New Business Engineering Innovation and Localisation unit.

This is a fixed term contract role in the Electricity, Energy and Water Supply sector. The position offers market-related remuneration and is aligned with Eskom’s Employment Equity commitments.

Role Overview

As a Graduate Engineer in Training, you will receive structured institutional training combined with on-the-job learning. The role is designed to develop your technical competence, workplace professionalism, and understanding of Eskom’s systems and operational environment. You will work alongside experienced professionals and contribute to real engineering and technology initiatives within the Generation business unit.
