Pick n Pay is recruiting for a full time Cook / Deli position in Bloemfontein, Free State. The role closes on 11 December 2025. The job supports daily food production in a busy retail environment and requires a strong focus on quality, hygiene and teamwork.

About The Role
You prepare meals according to set recipes and quantity standards. You maintain hygiene and housekeeping standards. You follow safe working procedures at all times. You support the deli team through consistent quality, accurate preparation and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare meals according to recipe and portion guidelines
Maintain hygiene and housekeeping standards
Follow security procedures
Conduct quality checks and rotate stock
Remove damaged or expired products
Prevent shrinkage and wastage
Complete required administration and documentation
Monitor expenses, turnover and gross profit and take corrective action
Plan daily and weekly production schedules
Communicate clearly with staff and management
Ensure equipment is functional and used correctly

Minimum Requirements
Grade 10 essential
Grade 12 advantageous
