Bakers Assistant Opportunity at Pick n Pay Klerksdorp

Pick n Pay is seeking a Bakers Assistant for its Klerksdorp store. This full-time role supports the baker in preparing, baking, and finishing bakery products according to recipe specifications while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and customer service.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric
• Passion for baking

Advantageous Qualifications and Experience

• NQF Level 2 or higher baking qualification
• Retail experience

Key Duties

• Assist the baker in preparing, baking, and finishing bakery products
• Clean or ensure cleaning of bakery-related equipment and utensils
• Maintain general housekeeping standards according to Pick n Pay Food Safety Standards
• Report defective machinery or utensils to the manager
• Provide general assistance with production tasks
• Serve customers at the bakery counter
• Prepare and report wastage
• Clean the back-up area
• Execute reasonable assignments given by management
