Job Description

• Assist in repairing trucks and buses according to dealer/distributor standards.
• Carry out fault diagnosis to aid and speed vehicle servicing.
• Use diagnostic equipment during vehicle examinations.
• Ensure DCSA procedures and policies are followed during repairs and keep printouts.
• Diagnose faults accurately to meet customer expectations.
• Discuss technical matters with Service Advisors and provide clear explanations.
• Maintain vehicle care and safety standards while handling vehicles.
• Minimise vehicle comebacks.
• Attend breakdown calls as required.
• Ensure vehicles are returned to customers in clean and neat condition.
• Manage parts usage, sign out relevant items, and return unused parts.
• Provide cost-effective and accurate solutions to faults or customer complaints.
• Complete service documentation, job cards, and reports promptly.
• Suggest improvements for campaigns and participate where required.
• Keep work area and overalls clean and tidy at all times.
• Attend training courses provided by Daimler and Cargo Motors.
• Assist with other reasonable duties as requested.
