Manaka Ranaka All Emotional As She Attends Late Daughter Katlego’s Graduation. During the late Katlego Ranaka’s memorial service, it was revealed that she was meant to finish her Diploma in Animal Production at Ekurhuleni Agricultural College on the 31st of January. She was remembered by Mr Baloyi, a spokesperson at Ekurhuleni Agricultural College, as an active and participating student.
This past Saturday, her peers from Ekurhuleni Agricultural College graduated. Sadly Katlego missed out on what would have been one of her special life moments. Although she is no more, her family attended the graduation on her behalf. Her mother Manaka Ranaka walked down the red carpet rocking a graduation gown to receive her diploma on behalf of her. The veteran actress and TV personality was holding a lit candle accompanied by his brother and Katlego’s uncle Ranaka Ranaka.
Although it was a difficult moment, Manaka showed amazing strength, as she walked to collect her daughter’s accolades. She also expressed how proud she is of Katlego, who qualified as an animal farmer. It’s sad she couldn’t practice, but her achievement will remain as consolation to the family.

Katlego passed away from natural causes on 23 January 2025. The reality show star and singer’s death devastated fans who had grown to love her on The Ranakas. Her funeral, held on 1 February, saw touching tributes from loved ones, including family members. She left behind her son, mother and siblings. May the family continue to be comforted.
