“God Spared A Life,” Chymamusique Shares Testimony After Recent Brain Surgery. Just when everybody thought Chymamusique was recovering well, he returned back to hospital. The talented musician and producer, real name Collen Mmotla, just underwent craniotomy (brain surgery) and faces three more operations.

Back in August the 30th, Chymamusique was involved in a horrific accident on the N1 near Ysterberg Mountain. The accident left him in a critical condition, and medical teams worked tirelessly to stabilize him. Sadly the accident claimed the life of his fellow artist and close friend, DJ Poizen, who he traveled with. A family of four also unfortunately lost their lives to the accident.

Since the accident Chymamusique has been updating his online family about his recovery progress. In one of his posts, he stated that he has had four operations, and all of them have been successful. Chymamusique also revealed that he was discharged and recovering well at home.

His recent updates, have however been a bit sad. Chymamusique had to be rushed back to hospital, after a couple of complications. He was back in ICU on Monday 27th October due to internal bleeding and a seizure. Among other things Chymamusique did a craniotomy, which involves removing a section of the skull bone to provide surgeons with. He was discharged on Monday, to recover at home. Taking to X, Chymamusique expressed gratitude to God for sparing his life.
