Clicks Group is seeking a Beauty Assistant for its Westville Village Market store in Durban. This permanent role is ideal for individuals passionate about beauty products, skincare, and delivering exceptional customer service. Job Purpose

The Beauty Assistant will provide professional advice on beauty and skincare products, manage merchandise effectively, and maintain high standards of housekeeping. The role aims to build customer loyalty, maximise sales, and enhance the overall shopping experience in the beauty department.

Key Responsibilities

The main duties include:

• Consulting with customers and providing advice on beauty and skincare products.
• Driving sales through promotion, cross-selling, and up-selling to meet monthly targets.
• Monitoring product performance and suggesting improvements for better sales outcomes.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of beauty products, trends, promotions, and events.
• Managing stock efficiently, minimising shrinkage, and ensuring the beauty department is well-presented.
• Meeting visual merchandising, in-store presentation, and promotional standards consistently.
• Acting as a brand ambassador, offering professional and friendly service to customers.
• Promoting the Clicks Clubcard and enrolling new members to achieve participation targets.
• Promoting private label and exclusive products to increase profitability and brand loyalty.
• Supporting the company’s goal to be the first-choice health and beauty retailer.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 certificate.
• Relevant beauty or skincare qualification is desirable.
• Retail, FMCG, beauty, skincare, sales, or marketing experience is advantageous.
