Applications Open for the Bidvest International Logistics YES Programme 2025. Bidvest International Logistics (BIL) invites unemployed South African youth to apply for the 2025 YES Programme across multiple locations nationwide.

About the Programme

The initiative forms part of the national Youth Employment Services partnership aimed at addressing unemployment and providing young people with meaningful workplace exposure. Successful applicants will gain valuable experience within the logistics environment, including warehousing operations, transport services, supply chain processes, and professional workplace conduct. The programme runs for 12 months and includes 25 practical and theoretical modules completed through the YES platform.

• Elandshaven, Germiston – Gauteng
• Bonaero Park, Kempton Park – Gauteng
• Rosslyn, Pretoria – Gauteng
• Paarden Eiland, Cape Town – Western Cape
• Port Elizabeth – Eastern Cape
• East London – Eastern Cape

Closing Dates:

• 21 November 2025 (Gauteng locations)
• 24 November 2025 (Western Cape & Eastern Cape locations)

Requirements

• Applicants must hold a Grade 12 certificate
• Be between the ages of 18 and 34, and meet the EE requirements of the programme.
• Candidates should be unemployed, not studying during the programme period, and must not have previously participated in any YES programme.
• A strong interest in the transport and logistics industry, along with basic computer literacy, professionalism, and commitment, is essential.
• Some sites additionally require a valid Code 08 driver’s license.

Qualifications & Experience

• Completed Senior certificate (Grade 12) or equivalent
• Must be a South African citizen
• Between the ages of 18 and 34
• Must be aligned to the EE requirement of the Programme
• Must be available and committed to work full time for 12 months
• Individual should have an avid interest in the Transport and Logistics industry
• Must be unemployed
• Must not be enrolled in any academic studies for 2026 or be studying during the Programme
• Must not have participated in the YES Programme before with any company

Key Responsibilities

• Be committed to a fixed 12 months YES Programme which will comprise of 25 modules of theoretical and practical components
• All modules will be completed on the YES Platform and a portfolio of evidence to be completed and submitted upon completion of the Programme
