Another celebrity who took their relationship to the next level is Wiseman Mncube. The multi-award winning actor and his wife Nokubonga Ngobeni had their traditional celebration called Umbondo over the weekend. In a traditional Zulu wedding, umbondo refers to the groceries and household items that the bride’s family sends to the groom’s family as a gesture of appreciation and reciprocity after the lobola has been paid.
At the event, Nokubonga clothed her man Wiseman, in breathtaking traditional attire. It resembled the one he wore in Shaka iLembe, where he played Zwide kaLanga. From the content shared online, one can tell that it was an event of love, celebration, and most importantly observing tradition. Nokubonga thanked everyone who took part to make them looks so stunning.
