Adendorff Machinery Mart is offering a Spares Controller position at its Aeroton branch in Johannesburg South, Gauteng. Job Overview
The Spares Controller will manage inventory, stock control, and customer orders within the Tools and Machinery division. The role requires interaction with branches via phone and email, ensuring accurate records, and maintaining efficient spares operations. Candidates with a technical or aftersales background will have an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform rolling stock and bin maintenance within the spares department.
  • Assist branches with inquiries over the phone and email.
  • Conduct general administrative tasks, including following up on adjustments and variances.
  • Maintain accurate inventory control and records.
  • Provide excellent customer service and process orders efficiently.
  • Source and obtain local spares when required.
  • Ensure all stock control procedures are adhered to.
  • Support the team as a reliable and honest member of the department.

Requirements

  • Senior Certificate (Grade 12).
  • Previous exposure to stock control, inventory management, or technical/aftersales roles is advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Confident, reliable, and able to work in a team environment.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday: 08:00 to 17:00
  • Saturday: 08:00 to 13:00

Aeroton, Johannesburg South, Gauteng, South Africa.
