Registration Admin – Talent Pool (Fixed-Term Contract) at ADvTECH Durban North

ADvTECH, through its Emeris division, is inviting candidates to join its Registration Admin Talent Pool for the Durban North campus. These fixed-term contract positions are focused on supporting the registration period and are ideal for entry-level candidates with strong administrative, customer service, or finance skills. Emeris consolidates resources from IIE Varsity College, IIE MSA, IIE-Vega School, and IIE School of Hospitality & Service Management. The division ensures consistent excellence in teaching, learning, and student support across all institutions.
Role Overview
Candidates in the talent pool will support various departments during peak registration periods. Responsibilities are divided across Finance, Student Recruitment/Sales, Admissions, and Student Registration Administration.
Finance Responsibilities
- Assist with student administration, pre-registration fees, application fees, deposits, and tuition fees.
- Prepare bills of costs, trace payments, and receipt pre-registration fees in the student system.
- Process card payments accurately.
- Handle account queries, complaints, and incoming calls.
- Verify refund documents and support general administrative duties as required.
Student Recruitment and Sales Responsibilities
- Contact prospective students to follow up on registration and documents.
- Capture data accurately in STASY and other reporting systems.
- Assist students with registration and track lead information.
- Manage marketing stock and promotional materials for campus use.
- Support Student Advisors with database administration and reporting.
Admissions Responsibilities
- Evaluate student applications against admission criteria.
- Follow up with campuses for missing documentation.
- Issue admission letters and track student progress to registration.
- Liaise with finance and campus teams to ensure compliance.
Student Registration Administration Responsibilities
- Verify registrations against admission criteria.
- Check pre-requisites for first to second semester registrations.
- Upload outstanding documentation and assist students with online and on-campus registration.
- Ensure compliance with International Student Policy and registration procedures.
- Assist with adding and deregistering modules.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric certificate is essential.
- Diploma or degree is advantageous.
- 0–2 years of experience in administration, sales, finance, or customer service is preferred.
