Position Overview
The successful candidate will provide pharmaceutical care services within their scope of practice and perform day-to-day dispensary administration following Clicks’ Standard Operating Plans (SOPs).
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality customer service and patient care
- Maintain efficient stock control and dispensary administration, including repacking of medicines
- Perform accurate compounding of medications
- Provide general health advice to customers
- Ensure housekeeping standards and proper merchandise display
- Complete ad hoc operational tasks as required
Minimum Requirements
- Matric with Mathematics
- Compliance with Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) requirements for Post Basic Pharmacist Assistants
- Registration as a Qualified Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant
Skills and Competencies
- Strong product knowledge, including Health Isle and OTC products
- Knowledge of SAPC regulations and legal requirements in pharmacy practice
- Customer service orientation and ability to work in a team
- Integrity, ethical practice, and attention to detail
- Competence in basic calculations and IT business systems, including MS Office
- Ability to plan, organise, and meet customer expectations
- Capacity to follow instructions, procedures, and company principles
