Pharmacist Opportunity at Clicks Amajuba Mall

Clicks Group has announced an exciting opportunity for a qualified Pharmacist to join its Amajuba Mall branch in KwaZulu-Natal. The position, listed under reference click_022409, is open for applications until 3 November 2025. Purpose of the Role
The position aims to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the dispensary while maintaining high standards of pharmaceutical care. The successful candidate will be expected to deliver excellent customer service, achieve compliance and sales targets, and contribute to the overall success of the Clicks brand.

Key Responsibilities
The appointed Pharmacist will be responsible for:

  • Providing professional pharmaceutical care, accurate dispensing, and offering sound medical advice in line with Good Pharmacy Practice and SAPC regulations.
  • Managing dispensary operations, including stock control, administration, and adherence to company standards.
  • Meeting core dispensary and clinic targets to ensure operational viability.
  • Overseeing and mentoring Pharmacist Assistants and Pharmacist Interns in accordance with SAPC training requirements.
  • Implementing customer service initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and loyalty through Clicks’ ClubCard program.
  • Building strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, distribution centers, and mall management.
  • Promoting integration between the dispensary, clinic, and healthcare aisle to ensure customers receive a complete healthcare experience.
  • Upholding the Clicks Group’s values and supporting its vision to remain South Africa’s first-choice health and beauty retailer.

Minimum Requirements

  • Education: Registered Pharmacist with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC).
  • Experience: Retail pharmacy experience is preferred. Familiarity with Unisolve will be an advantage.

Required Knowledge and Skills

  • Understanding of SAPC regulations and ethical pharmacy practices.
  • Strong knowledge of stock management, compliance, and patient care.
  • Excellent customer service and counselling abilities.
  • Leadership, coaching, and mentoring capability.
  • Strong problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and solid financial acumen.
