adidas is seeking a Permanent Part-Timer to join its retail team at the V&A Waterfront store in Cape Town. This role is designed for individuals who are passionate about retail, customer service, and fashion. The position offers an opportunity to gain experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment while contributing to the store’s daily operations.

Job Purpose
The Permanent Part-Timer will assist management in day-to-day store maintenance, provide excellent customer service, and ensure all store policies and procedures are followed.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver the highest level of adidas customer service at all times.
• Handle sales transactions, including cash, credit, and check payments.
• Support product ticketing and verify paperwork against items received.
• Assist in moving products from the stockroom to the sales floor as required.
• Contribute to merchandise displays following management guidance.
• Gain proficiency with the point-of-sale system while ensuring compliance with store policies.
• Apply sales techniques such as upselling and providing technical product information to enhance sales.
• Greet customers and assist them in selecting products; occasionally serve as a greeter during peak periods.
• Maintain general housekeeping standards and safeguard company assets.

Skills and Experience Required

• Flexibility to work weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
• Previous fashion retail experience is an advantage but not essential.
