GBS Group in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal is offering a 12-month paid Payroll Internship for recent HR, Payroll, or Administration graduates. This program provides practical experience in payroll operations and office administration, helping you build a strong foundation for your career in financial services.

About the Internship
You will gain hands-on experience in key payroll functions. Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining accurate employee records on PaySpace
  • Distributing payroll documents and generating routine reports
  • Supporting Payroll Officers with daily tasks and simple reconciliations
  • Assisting employees with payroll queries
  • Collecting and verifying payroll input before processing
  • Performing general administrative tasks to ensure smooth office operations

Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • 3-year Diploma or Degree in HR, Payroll, or Administration
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • South African citizen, aged 18–35, residing in KwaZulu-Natal
  • Strong communication, numerical, and organizational skills
  • No prior internship or current employment experience

What You Will Gain
The internship offers a full year of practical exposure, mentorship, and professional development. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm. You will gain experience in payroll processes and office administration within a high-performing team.
