Atandwa married fellow South African actor Fikile Mthwalo in December 2015. The two met during a television serial set where they got engaged and married a year after. They planned their traditional marriage lobolo after their wedding. Sadly things didn’t work out and Fikile and Atandwa separated in 2019. They then divorced amicably in 2023 based on irreconcilable differences.
Before then, Atandwa was married to presenter Thembisa Mdoda from 2012 to 2015. Their marriage ended after it was discovered that Atandwa did not father Thembisa’s twin sons.
Well, that’s all in the past now, and everyone seems to have moved on. Atandwa has been hinting a new relationship with his social media posts. This time around, the talented actor has taken things a notch up with a post featuring the new woman. The two are locked in a kiss, all the way in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
