Job Overview
The Warehouse Operator will be responsible for inspecting merchandise, verifying order accuracy, and ensuring customers receive their purchases in good condition and on time. The role requires a detail-oriented individual who can manage inventory, oversee warehouse distribution, and support retail fulfillment operations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Product Inspection and Accuracy: Inspect merchandise, confirm quantities, and ensure no items are missing or damaged. Conduct quality checks before, during, and after packing.
• Warehouse Distribution and Retail Fulfilment: Manage stock distribution to stores and ensure safe, accurate, and timely deliveries. Apply proper packing methods to prevent damage in transit.
• Shipping and Receiving: Track and verify inventory using scanning equipment, sign for incoming shipments, and oversee dispatch of customer orders.
• Organization and Inventory Management: Load, unload, and stack merchandise safely. Optimize warehouse storage space and assist with inventory control.
• Customer Satisfaction and Problem Solving: Ensure timely and satisfactory delivery of orders, resolve issues quickly, and provide feedback for operational improvement.
• Compliance and Productivity: Adhere to company standards for productivity, accuracy, and quality in all warehouse tasks.
• Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisors or management.

Skills and Personal Attributes

• Matric is compulsory, while higher education will be an advantage.
• Experience in retail or warehouse settings is preferred.
• Knowledge of inventory control systems.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
