Khabonina Qubeka Announces Her Latest Movie Gig. Without a doubt, Khabonina Qubeka, is on of the best actresses of our time. She killed her role as Queen Ntombazi, in both season I and II of Shaka iLembe drama series. Ntombazi, was the mother to the Ndwandwe leader, King Zwide kaLanga. She was killed on the last episode of season II, which aired this past Sunday.
Although viewers are going to miss her on Shaka iLembe, Khabonina won’t be missed in the acting space. She just bagged herself a role in a new movie titled, Loved Out. The talented actress, fitness fanatic and entrepreneur plays Gloria, the mother of Ruva (played by Bahumi Madisakwane).
The movie takes us into the life of an ambitious entrepreneur and content creator Ruva, who takes over her mother’s restaurant. She is faced with juggling her Mother’s kidnapping, a failing marriage, and a high-stakes social media contest that could make or break her future. With the city’s most dangerous gangsters closing in and her dreams on the line, she’ll have to risk everything to save it all.
Other cast members include, Jefferson Lan, Thulani Nzonzo, Tumi Morake, Marcus Mabusela, Eliazer Shadung, Simphiwe Jack Mabaso and Adriaan Marais.
