Graduate Internship Opportunity at Pepkor Lifestyle

Pepkor Lifestyle, a division of one of South Africa’s leading retail groups, has announced a Graduate Internship Programme in Johannesburg, Gauteng. The programme, funded by the Wholesale and Retail SETA (W&R SETA), offers young graduates and TVET students the chance to gain valuable workplace experience in the retail sector.

The internship runs for 12 months for degree and diploma graduates, and 18 months for TVET Work Integrated Learning students. Applications close on 30 September 2025.

About the Internship

The Pepkor Lifestyle Graduate Internship is designed to expose participants to the fast-paced retail environment. Interns will gain practical experience across different functions within the organization, from operations and marketing to IT and human resources. The programme also provides structured mentoring and training to prepare participants for long-term careers in retail.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Hold a degree, diploma, or TVET qualification in fields such as Marketing Management, Business Management, Human Resource Management, Industrial Psychology, Ecommerce, IT Project Administration, Project Management, or Information Systems.
  • Be unemployed at the time of application.
  • Be a South African citizen with a valid South African ID.
  • Be under the age of 32.
  • Be able to demonstrate skills such as resilience, adaptability, strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving.
