Graduate in Training – Graphic Design Internship at Eskom Eastern Cape

Eskom Distribution is offering a Graduate in Training opportunity for recent graduates in Graphic Design. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in communication, stakeholder management, and industry support within the energy sector. The programme is based in the Cape Coastal Cluster, Eastern Cape, under the Stakeholder Management and Industry Support Department.

Programme Overview
The internship is aimed at graduates who want to apply their academic knowledge in a professional setting while developing industry-specific skills. Trainees will work in the Communication and Stakeholder Management Sections, gaining exposure to real-world projects and workplace practices. The programme provides a platform to enhance employability through structured mentorship, teamwork, and practical assignments.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the creation and design of communication materials for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support stakeholder engagement activities and campaigns.
• Apply technical knowledge to graphic design tasks while adhering to safety and organizational standards.
• Contribute to team projects with a positive and collaborative attitude.
• Maintain professionalism, discipline, and responsibility in completing assigned tasks.
• Perform occasional physical work as required by the role.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design (NQF 7) with 360 credits.
• No prior work experience required.
