Applications Open for the Sasol Fire Fighter Learnership Programme (6x Secunda and 8x Sasolburg).
Purpose of Job
This learnership provides an opportunity for learners to gain both theoretical knowledge and practical on-the-job training in Fire Fighting. Successful candidates will participate in a fixed-term contract learnership and must complete all assessments and workplace readiness activities.
Key Accountabilities
- Participate in Learnership programme and successfully complete the assessment process;
- Participate in all required work-place readiness activities and exercises.
Formal Education
A completed National Senior Certiļ¬cate or equivalent with a pass in:
- Technical Mathematics/Mathematics
- English/Business English
- Technical/Physical Science
- Code B or higher drivers License
- Ability to pass a stress and fear assessment (Heights, Confined space and Fire exposure)
- Pass Fire fighter fitness assessment
