Netflix Drops Highly Anticipated Trailer of Beauty and The Bester Documentary. A few days back, Netflix had fans all exited when they announced that they are soon to drop the Beauty and The Bester trailer. Well, the day has finally arrived, and the streaming service platform has honored its promise. The trailer is here, and it’s as fire as everyone expected it to be.
The three-part documentary takes us in the interesting lives of Thabo Bester and Dr Nandipha Magudumana. The two’s lives changed dramatically when they got caught and detained two years back. They lived a life of wealth and glamour, but deep down, it was marred by deep deeds of crime.
Thabo got to be known as the Facebook Rapist. This is because he used the platform to lure models with fake job opportunities. He was eventually convicted for rapist and murderer, and was detained the Mangaung Correctional Centre. While in prison, Thabo still tricked many, including some high profile celebrities who attended his fake birthday party. He then escaped from prison by faking his death in a fire in his prison cell in May 2022. All this time, when many believed he was dead, Thabo was living with Dr Nandipha, a celebrity surgeon.
They were nabbed when a picture of them shopping made trending news. The lovers were on the run for almost a year before being caught in Arusha, Tanzania on 8 April 2023. Since them the two have been making international headlines, with their court appearances. Tapping on their popularity, Netflix has produced the Beauty and the Bester documentary.
