Lira Rocks One of Her Late Mom’s Stunning Outfits At An Event Celebrating Women. Buyi Radebe might not be here with us anymore, but she is definitely not forgotten. Her daughter Lira, continues to make sure that her memory lives on.
When Mama Buyi was still alive, she and her multi-award winning daughter did almost everything together. From traveling the world, to attending functions and slaying together, they were definitely joined by the hip. Lira always made sure that she shared some of the moments they spend together. How cool it is that their birthdays were just days apart. This gave the songstress and her mother the opportunity to have a joint celebration. A few years back, they went skydiving in Namibia to celebrate their birthdays. They were joined by Lira’s little sister, making the whole adventure a family affair.
Another thing, Mama Buyi was a big fan of her daughter;s music. She usually accompanied her to concerts, and spoke highly of her talent. On the other hand, Lira always spoke how much she admired her mother. Sadly Mama Buyi is n more, after a battle with cancer.
This past weekend, Lira paid tribute to her mom in the most amazing way. She rocked one of her mother’s outfits to The Brace Collective event, that was all about celebrating women. The stunning red dress and black blazer suits both ladies perfectly well. At the event Lira shared her personal journey of overcoming adversity after experiencing a life-altering stroke. She spoke about turning one of her biggest challenges into an opportunity for reinvention.
