Asavela Mqokiyana Opens Up About Getting Divorced While Her Daughter Was Only Six Months. Divorce is never an easy thing. When two people get married, it is normally meant for eternity. Sadly things happen along the way, and just like in Asavela Mqokinyana’s case, sometimes, the couple end divorcing.

Asavela announced that she was a married woman, back in April 2022. She has kept everything private, and only shared the news when the time was right for her. From then on, the talented actress started giving her online family epic housewife content. She shared pictures and videos of herself, at the farm with her livestock. Asavela, also showed off her mansion, which had a life inside. Eventually, the couple had their first child, a daughter, who is turning two today. It was evident that she did well for herself.

Sadly, her marriage was short lived, and now she is divorced. It is alleged that Vuyisa Mqokinyana was the one who filed for divorce based on documents obtained from the high court. Rumors also did the rounds that, another talented actress and model Buhle Samuels is her ex’s new woman. None of the three people concerned have commented on the trending rumors.

Asavela recently opened up about her personal life, when she was a guest on Mommy Diaries, hosted by fellow actress Mapaseka Koetle. On the current episode, she shared her journey with motherhood from her trying to build a two-parent household to that being stripped away. She also shares how she somehow finds a way to smile through the pain.

Clearly the divorce did a number on Asavela, who didn’t expect things to end that way. She was still a new mom, and her daughter was just six month old. Asavela had to see the life she built get destroyed, and now she was rebuilding with a new baby. On the brighter side, her daughter helped her through the healing process, and she is also co-parenting well with the father.
