Beauty Advisor Opportunity at Clicks Springs
Clicks Group is seeking passionate and knowledgeable Beauty Advisors for their Springs store in Johannesburg. This permanent role provides an exciting opportunity for individuals who love beauty products and enjoy helping customers look and feel their best. The Beauty Advisor will report to the Store Manager and support the entire beauty department, delivering professional advice, promoting products, and ensuring an excellent shopping experience for all customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Consult with customers to provide expert advice on beauty and skincare products
- Promote and sell products through cross-selling and up-selling to meet monthly targets
- Monitor sales performance and offer suggestions for improved product offerings
- Maintain updated knowledge of trends, promotions, and product ranges
- Manage stock efficiently, minimise shrinkage, and ensure proper housekeeping in the department
- Execute operational tasks including merchandising, visual standards, and promotional displays
- Enroll new clubcard members and promote private label or exclusive products
- Act as a brand ambassador by providing visible, friendly, and professional customer service
Qualifications and Experience
- Grade 12 required
- Relevant beauty or skincare qualification is desirable
- Experience in beauty, skincare, retail, FMCG, sales, or marketing environments is advantageous
Skills and Competencies
- Strong knowledge of beauty and skincare products
- Understanding of retail and merchandising principles
- Customer service excellence and strong communication skills
- Results and target-driven, with the ability to persuade and influence customers
- Confident, engaging, and able to work effectively in a team
- Planning, organising, and coping under pressure while maintaining standards
