Makhaola Ndebele Returns to Scandal! A couple of months back, Scandal! made some huge changes on its storyline. The spin-off introduced viewers to Ethembeni, which boasts a couple of businesses. The complex was previously owned by Uncle Sammyday, and he sold it to Taps, Madala and Tlhogi. At first the community did not feel the new owners at first but eventually warmed up to them.
Viewers however were not impressed by the new Scandal! Many cast members did not make it to the spin-off, and so did the storyline that viewers were used to. Of recent though, cast members from the previous season are returning to the hit e.tv show. Among those is Mapaseka Koetle, who plays the lead role of Dintle Nyathi. Already, she is causing havoc, causing a disruption in Nhloso Gasa and MaDhlomo’s marriage. Dintle has agreed to become Gasa’s second wife, with the aim of eventually becoming the only wife in future.
As the preparations for her wedding are ongoing, Dintle’s father comes into the picture. He is none other that Reginald Pheko, played by Makhaola Ndebele. He made his Scandal! debut on 31st October 2023, and quickly fell in love with Dintle. The two were madly in love, and looked so compatible. It was only on their wedding day that, Regi got to know that Dintle was his biological daughter. This was so sad for both of them, as well as the family at large.
Regi is now back, but this time, to lead the lobola negotiations of his daughter Dintle. One can only imagine how awkward everything is going to be, for everyone involved. His character’s reintroduction is scheduled for 17 July 2025.
