Khanyi Mbau Nominated Alongside International Personalities for A Cool Netflix Award. Over the past couple of months, South Africans have been doing amazing things on international stages. Be it on sports, beauty pageants, or entertainment, many South Africans have been shining against their international competitors. That bred the popular slogan, No DNA Just RSA.
One of the most prominent entertainers putting our name on the map, is Khanyi Mbau. Khanyi has been in the entertainment industry for decades. She made a mark when she was cast as Doobsie on Muvhango. Khanyi then went on to become a respected celebrity, doing music, TV, radio, reality shows among other things.
Khanyi has also acted on other shows such as, After Nine, Abomama, Ashes to Ashes, Umlilo, Happiness Is a Four-letter Word, and The Wife. Her most recent role was on Meet The Khumalos which premiered on April 11th on Netflix. Khanyi has also been the host of the SABC 3 entertainment show The Scoop and The Big Secret on BET Africa.
Khanyi, who is currently based in Dubai, is still the girl she thinks she is. She has just bee nominated for a Netflix Superlative Main Character Energy award. Khanyi has made the record as the first African nominee.
