Phila Madlingozi On the Amazing Work Relationship He Has Had With Zandile Msutwana for Years. One of the best things that can happen to a person is having amazing colleagues. This is because we spend a lot of time at work, so it will be good for our mental health to have healthy working relationships.
Phila Madlingozi definitely found that in Zandile Msutwana. The two have acted together on a number of shows, and managed to have a friendship, even beyond set. One of the shows they have starred in together, is the Xhosa drama, Isikizi. Phila played Sizwe, whereas Zandile was cast as Nomazwe.
Their most recent show, is the recently canned Mzansi Magic telenovela, Gqeberha: The Empire. Phila played the character of Ntando Mxenge, who was spoilt brat, but also multi-layered. He was the son of the cunning Zimkhitha Mxenge, played by Zandile. Zimkitha wanted the best for her son, including running the family legacy. The mother and son duo, did many evil things for power, which eventually strained their relationship.
Taking a trip down memory lane, Phila shared a series of pictures, showing his bond with Zandile. The talented actor, musician and TV personality also took a moment to celebrate their relationship.
“🌟 To my incredible friend, Zandile Msutwana 🌟
Zandile, words can’t fully express how much your friendship means to me. Playing mother and son on our TV projects is a joy, made even more special by the genuine bond we’ve built off-screen. Your radiant energy and unwavering support have been a constant light in my career and life. Thank you for being such an amazing friend, always there with a laugh, a kind word, or a boost when I need it most. You’re truly one of a kind, and I’m so grateful for you. Here’s to more shared moments, on set and beyond! 💙,” Phila said.
